If you love animals this will break your heart. www.liveleak.com Torture = Taste according to SOME Chinese in remote parts of South China, it is commonly believed in these areas that this is true, ie the more an animal suffers the better the taste of the final product. Due to this incorrect theory, animals are routinely hacked to pieces, skinned and boiled alive in an attempt to add flavour. Whilst some countries in Asia such as Hong Kong, the Philippines and Taiwan have banned the practice of dog eating, evidence shows that in China, the biggest dog eating country in the world, it continues to thrive. It is estimated that up to 10 million dogs are slaughtered every year in China, many deliberately slowly and cruelly in the belief that “torture equals taste”, whilst all suffer the stress and pain of being farmed in concentrated numbers before being killed in a variety of ways which rarely ensures a quick and humane death. This is Ramli’s Video Series-Thoughts of Ramli Abu Hassan. Winning an Olympic Gold Medal at the Olympic Games have now become a National Mission (or Obsession) for Malaysia because “believe it or not” Malaysia have never won any Gold Medal since the Modern Olympics was introduced in 1896. How wonderful countries like Ethiopia,Kenya,Nigeria and other small nations of the World have managed at least 1 Gold Medal at the Olympics! Why Malaysia have never won any Gold Medal? According to Ramli, who happen to win many gold medals when he was still a kid of 10 years old where at school,Ramli have participated in many sports events and with passion, determination, hard practice, discipline and lots of support from dad and mum plus coaches and friends, the desire to win a Gold Medal is always there (of course sometimes Ramli win the silver or bronze medals and at times none at all) Looks like to win the Olympic Gold Medal, the “real effort” must first come from the Athlete himself/herself!Nobody can do that if the athlete have no passion and “willing to die for” to win the Gold Medal. Next come the Management of the Sports themselves, where all “politics, squabbles, interference, bad habits and poor strategies” can also cause the failures of not being able to produce a good Gold Medal Olympian. Maybe we should learn from the many Gold Medal Winners from Ethoipia and Nigeria where every Olympics they will at least win a Gold Medal for their beloved country. Like Malaysia’s PM once remarked …
